Sweet Pea’s Therapy Bunnies

Our bunny therapy service is named after the wonderful “Sweet Pea”. She was the founding bunny and her legacy and memory lives on with the fantastic work we do.

Pet Therapy Benefits for All Ages

We are told by Suzanne that we can provide a variety of therapeutic benefits for individuals and/or groups.

These include:

Promoting Physical Movement

By stroking us – which we  love!

Sensory Exercise

Getting your senses going by seeing how cute we are, touching/feeling our lovely fur and hearing us chatter

Socialisation & Relaxation

When we are around, people start to initiate conversations, also we are told that we can help people to become less stressed and relax more

Promoting Memories / Reminiscence

When people stroke us or watch us they can start to recall memories and stories of past pets and their experience with animals.

Pet Therapy Sessions

Sessions with us are very flexible and can be tailored to meet the needs of the individual or group.  We are more than happy to visit you on a regular or on a “one off” basis.  Just to let you know that Suzanne is very diligent when it comes to our health and well-being and we have regular visits to the vet to ensure we are in tip top condition.  Also Suzanne ensures all safety/risk aspects for me and everyone we are visiting is completed appropriately.

If you are interested in arranging a visit with us, please contact our owner Suzanne to discuss your requirements and the cost associated with a visit.
